Four complete dye families — Solvent, Acid, Direct, and Reactive — covering the full spectrum of industrial colouration needs. All products are quality-checked before dispatch.
Solvent dyes are non-ionic, organic dye compounds that dissolve cleanly in organic solvents without leaving residue. Unlike water-based dyes, they integrate directly into the carrier medium — be it wax, resin, oil, or solvent-based paint — making them the go-to choice wherever water cannot be used.
Our YOBISOL range covers blacks, blues, browns, greens, oranges, pinks, reds, and yellows — all formulated for consistent colour strength and excellent solubility. They are widely used in wood stains, metal coatings, fuel colouring, candles, wax, printing inks, shoe polish, and automotive finishes. The YOBISOL series also includes several premetallized (metal complex) variants that offer superior lightfastness for outdoor and high-temperature applications.
Acid dyes are anionic, water-soluble dyes that bond to protein-based and polyamide fibres under acidic dyeing conditions. The term "acid" refers to the acidic dye bath required — not the chemical nature of the dye itself. This class is the benchmark choice for wool, silk, nylon, leather, and certain paper grades where bright, clean shades and good levelness are required.
What makes acid dyes particularly valued in the leather and wool dyeing industry is their ability to produce even, penetrating colour without streaking — even on uneven substrates. Our range covers all major colour families: blacks, blues, browns, greens, oranges, reds, violets, and yellows, with both standard and high-strength grades available. Many shades in our range have good to excellent wash and light fastness, making them suitable for garments, upholstery, and industrial textiles where durability matters.
Direct dyes are among the most versatile and cost-effective dye classes available for cellulosic fibres. They apply directly in a neutral or mildly alkaline salt bath — no mordant or complex fixation chemistry required. This simplicity makes them popular across cotton, viscose, linen, jute, and paper dyeing, particularly where production speed and economy are key priorities.
The main advantage of direct dyes is their straightforward application — they exhaust well onto the fibre from a hot water bath with common salt, and the shade builds up uniformly without special equipment. For applications where wash fastness needs to be improved, direct dyes can be after-treated with cationic fixing agents, significantly extending their performance. Our range includes blacks, blues, browns, reds, yellows, oranges, and greens — many available in both powder and liquid form for added convenience.
Reactive dyes form a covalent bond with the fibre — unlike other dye classes that rely on physical attraction or surface deposition. This chemical bond is the strongest of all fibre–dye interactions, which is why reactive dyes consistently deliver the best wash and wet fastness on cotton, cellulose, and viscose. They are the preferred choice wherever durability through repeated washing is required — from fashion apparel to home textiles and industrial fabrics.
Our REACTOBOND range covers four distinct chemistries, each suited to different dyeing and printing applications. Vinyl Sulphone (VS) based dyes are the workhorse for exhaust dyeing with excellent reproducibility. MCT (Monochlorotriazine) dyes are preferred for textile printing. DCT (Dichlorotriazine / Cold Brand) dyes react at lower temperatures — ideal for cold pad-batch processes. Bifunctional dyes combine both reactive groups for higher fixation rates and deeper build-up. We also carry a High Exhaust (HE) range for improved fibre uptake and reduced effluent load.
